Update from the owners of Cypress Creek Golf Course (the “back” course):
After a minor set-back from Mother Nature, our greens are in great shape, and the course is in magnificent condition following an atypical Arkansas summer. Currently (and fortunately), we are financially solvent. We are pleased with our progress in just two years after reopening (and rebuilding), and we look forward to maintaining this partnership to add further improvements to Cypress Creek.
However, we continue to rely on our Greystone Community to fiscally support us as we welcome new golfers and new memberships, and hopefully, provide an enjoyable family golfing opportunity for years to come.
Sadly, rumors abound about both golf courses. We are not - and have never been asked to be - included in the Recreational Improvement District. We can certainly empathize with the cost and expense of maintaining a golfing facility. But, we hope that no future decisions/changes will be made concerning the financial support of either course without careful consideration of the impact such decisions would have on BOTH golf courses and the unity/stability of our neighborhoods. Any decision which makes it financially unrealistic for our Greystone families to be able to support both courses fairly and equitably would be detrimental to the opportunities afforded to our community and the value of our homes (regardless of their location). As vested Greystone residents, we know that it takes BOTH courses to keep our community a thriving, desirable place to live and raise our families.
Let’s play golf!
Since 1998, our staff has taken pride in serving the Cabot golf community, and we have everything you need for the perfect course experience. We are inside the Greystone Communities.
The Cypress Creek Golf Course was designed by acclaimed golf course architect Kevin Tucker. Our course is 18 holes and a par 72. From the longest holes it features 7,392 yards of golf, with a rating of 74.9 and a slope of 136 on Zoysia grass. This course is unique, and it will challenge experienced players with its thought-provoking layout while helping casual golfers relax amid the picturesque scenery.
